Bowen Therapists Federation of Australia
The Bowen Therapists Federation of Australia (BTFA) is a leading professional association for Bowen therapists working in Australia.
Modern New Look
The BTFA recently approached us to overhaul their very tired looking web site; asking us to make it more eye-catching, modern and user-friendly.
We worked closely with our partner Naturagraphic (who had just completed branding work for the association) to ensure that the web site worked well visually with the BTFA's other marketing materials. The new look is modern, energetic, and highlights the diversity of people benefitting from Bowen therapy.
President, David Paris says “The new web site has already enhanced our image and generated some excellent feedback and compliments from our members and viewers.”
A Complete Restructure
The BTFA website aims to deliver information to 3 different groups of people:
- members of the public interested in Bowen therapy,
- potential members (including qualified therapists, and those yet to train), and
- current members of the association.
The old site was not very well organised making it difficult to find what you were looking for, with several empty sections lacking in content. We produced a site architecture to organise the content according to the visitors' goals, thereby allowing for easy navigation of the site.
The resultant site places a heavy emphasis on educating the public about Bowen Therapy, whilst still serving the needs of BTFA members and potential members.
“I am particulary thrilled with the state association pages (something we have wanted for the longest time) and it is so easy to enter important information for our members to access.” says vice-president, Cathy Butlin.
Therapist Search
A major benefit of the new site, is the improved member listings area. This allows members of the public to find a qualified Bowen therapist near them; allowing the visitor to enter their postcode, the distance they're willing to travel as well as whether they're searching for therapists who treat people or animals.
The new postcode search also allows the BTFA office staff to deal with telephone enquiries more efficiently.
