Bowen EnergyWork
Bowen EnergyWork is run by Sonia Barton a therapist who specialises in Bowen Technique. Sonia ran a successful clinic in Oxford, UK, and recently moved to Sydney, Australia.
Sonia was in the process of building her new practice, and asked us to create a web site that would attract more clients.
Site Design
As Sonia's budget was small, we used a web template as the basis for the site. We customised the template fairly heavily to use Sonia's preferences for colours and photos, ending up with a unique design for the fraction of the cost.
Site Content
The resulting web site is simple, but provides prospective clients with a lot of information about the treatments that Sonia offers.
The site also allows visitors to book a treatment using a contact form. We advised Sonia to use a contact form rather than her email address, as placing email addresses on the web can often lead to an increase in spam (unsolicited commercial email).
Marketing
Sonia's budget allowed us to offer her a basic search engine optimisation service and registration of her new web site with the main search engines. Bowen EnergyWork is now listed at number 1 in Google and Yahoo for the chosen keywords.
We advised Sonia to include her web site address in her offline marketing. This allows potential clients to read up about Sonia's offerings at their leisure. “People used to phone me to ask about Bowen or about my training. Now they've read all about that on the web site and they just phone up to ask for an appointment,” says Sonia. “It's great. I save so much time.”
